TEAM SUPPORT

Optimise health and performance on and off the pitch with 1-2-1 support and educational workshops for your team. Include nutrition as part of training camps, holiday camps and educational hub days.

In the competitive world of team sports, nutrition support is becoming increasingly common and has the power to provide an additional edge for your players. Research has found that improvements to fuelling and recovery can significantly reduce injury risk and time taken off with illness, resulting in more reliable and resilient athletes.

 

When working with a team, building a relationship with the athletes and support from managers and coaches is essential to get buy-in from players. This can take time, but often comes when players start to see improvements to their performance. This is a collaborative relationship where I work with the staff and athletes to support improved nutrition knowledge and positive behaviour change. 

 

I have experience in professional football and basketball with both youth athletes and adults. This has included a range of practical workshops, educational seminars, and cooking/food preparation sessions. I am also ISAK trained to carry out skinfold assessments. Please note, this requires participants to remove tops and wear shorts, and a minimum of 20 minutes is needed per participant when measuring large groups.
